A bad landing at practice has eliminated former Moranbah rider Melissa Mankowski from the chance to represent Australia at the Beijing Olympics. The 19-year-old, who was recently crowned National Champion, hurt her left knee during a training session last week. The injury occured just a week before she was due to compete in the final Olympic qualifying event, the World Championships in China.
