Morgan County residents interested in going “back to the roots” of Bicycle Motor Cross racing will have the opportunity Friday evening. As part of the activities during Relay for Life this weekend, there will be BMX races for boys and girls in several divisions, starting with the 5-6 age group at the horse arena at the Morgan County Fairgrounds, said Bruce Balay, a former Martinsville resident who is helping put on the event. The arena will be transformed into a BMX track with ramps for participants of all ages to try.
