Catch the Tige Pro-Am Wakeboard Championships on FUEL TV

image0021.jpgAction-sports fans can catch all the high-flying, rail-sliding water-sports action of wakeboarding from the comfort of their home, as FUEL TV is set to air the fifth contest of the 2008 King of Wake series, the Tige Pro-Am Wakeboard Championship, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink. The championship showdown will premier on Tuesday, August 26 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (5:00 pm Pacific Time), and will re-air seven more times throughout August and September. Eleven Athletes Win National Titles at 2008 USA Wakeboard Nationals

Eleven wakeboard riders won national titles at the ninth annual USA Wakeboard Nationals, Aug. 16-17, at Freeman Lake. Sanctioned by USA Wakeboard, the USA Wakeboard Nationals was part of USA Water Ski’s National Championships Series of Events.

Favorites dominate Rip Curl Pro Jr. Mademoiselle Day 1

2608_rip_curl_mad_junior.jpgThe ASP Grade-2 Rip Curl Pro Junior Mademoiselle got underway today at the world famous beachbreak of Les Bourdaines with Round 1 and 2 being completed in good quality four foot (1.2 meter) waves and under beating sun. With all favorites not surfing in Round 1, unknown surfers and locals were able to enjoy their time out before big names started firing.
