Sure, she still boasts the same chatty personality, curly ponytail and toothy grin — those qualities aren’t going anywhere. But the Kintner of today is a bigger, badder, stronger version of her former self. Bulging triceps flex from under her shirtsleeves, thick hamstrings and quads fill out her jeans.

Reade recovers to make BMX semi

_44941048_reade_crash.jpgGreat Britain’s Shanaze Reade brushed off a nasty fall to qualify for the Olympic semi-finals of the women’s BMX. The 19-year-old from Crewe clocked a time of 36.882 seconds, behind only France’s Anne-Caroline Chausson, in her second run at the track at Laoshan.
