Elusive sponsors Welsh Pro Surf Tour event at Rest Bay

The event will not just be for the men there is also a Women’s division. 2007 Tour Champion Gwen Spurlock (Swansea) starts her tour campaign late this year after recovering from a very serious head injury. Other top girls competing include: English champion Holly Donnelly (Newquay) and up and coming surf star Zoe Sheath (Isle of White).

Liquid Force: The Truth #33

U.S. Snowboarding Names 2009 World Cup Roster

A crew of America’s best riders will highlight the 37-athlete roster for U.S. Snowboarding in 2009. The all star group includes X Games gold medalist Gretchen Bleiler (Aspen, CO), Olympic Gold medalist Hannah Teter (Belmont, VT), Olympic silver medalist Lindsey Jacobellis (Stratton Mountain, VT) and Olympian Elena Hight (South Lake Tahoe, CA).

Waterfest this weekend in Lake Dallas

Waterfest is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Willow Grove in Lake Dallas. “Every year we build on this event and this year we have added more free kids’ activities available, more live music and pro wakeboarders who will not only give a great show but also provide free lessons to those who want to give wakeboarding a try,” said Holly Deitrick, Lake Dallas special events coordinator.
