She may be carrying a serious knee injury, but count out Kiwi Katherine Prumm at your peril. The Yamaha rider from South Auckland finished 3-2 at the French GP on Sunday, the third of five rounds in this year’s Women’s Motocross World Championships, and shot herself to the top of the standings for the first time this year. A crash just days before the opening round of the series had threatened to derail her title bid, but Prumm has knuckled down and bravely clawed her way back into contention.
