Moseley takes women’s title with time to spare

Tracy Moseley won the women’s downhill race in emphatic fashion yesterday in the mountain bike World Cup at Fort William. Moseley, from Malvern in Worcestershire, finished nearly four minutes ahead of France’s Sabrine Jonnier, with Rachel Atherton, from Shrewsbury, in third. Riding last, Moseley navigated her way through a track dried out by the Lochaber sunshine to finish a clear winner in front of a thrilled home crowd.
