As part of Walk & Bike Month in Boulder, about 50 women turned out for a mountain bike clinic co-sponsored by Team Spot and Luna Chix, two professional women’s mountain bike teams. The women separated into three groups - beginner, intermediate and advanced - at the riding park at the CU Research Park, just west of Foothills Parkway, on Tuesday night. Tips and instructive advice were offered to help riders enjoy the sport and meet other local riders. In addition, the event dovetailed with one of the Boulder Luna Chix Ambassador group’s three annual clinic fundraisers supporting the Breast Cancer Fund.
