Competition continues at the 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships

Action got underway with the under 18 girls hitting the water to contest round 1. Laura Enever, Kirstie Woods and Tyler Wright all had strong wins while Tiana McNeven was pushed into third place in one of the tightest heats of the day with only 2 points separating first from third.

Laura Enever, Kirstie Woods and Tyler Wright all had strong wins in their round one heats while Tiana McNeven was pushed into third place in one of the tightest heats of the day with only 2 points separating first from third. McNeven will now enter the repercharge rounds to keep her chances alive in the competition.

The 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships are being held in France with the Finals set down for Sunday 1st June.
