Telana Flanagan remains in contention to defend her title going into the third and final day of the 2008 Billabong SA Students Sports. Flanagan is the sole survivor from the NMMU women’s squad who won the team event in 2007. Kerri-Leigh Anderson (UCT) looks likely to challenge Flanagan for this year’s individual title while UCT and the University of Stellenbosch (US) each have three team members in the women’s semifinals.
