CHOPSHOP CREW SHOOTS NINE LOCATIONS FOR THE SERIES
    NOW AIRING ON FUEL TV

August 12, 2008 …. Irvine, CA … The King of Wake wakeboarding series has taken Irvine-based ChopShop to nine locations across the country to shoot regional, national and international wakeboarders competing for the crown – the top spot in wakeboarding – and a $25,000.00 cash bonus.

Currently airing on FUEL TV, the King of Wake is the ultimate contest series for competitive wakeboarders. It brings the sport’s top competitive events – the Pro Wakeboard Tour, the Wake Games, the WWA National Championships, and the WWA World Championships – together in one season-long series. The competitions are sanctioned by World Wakeboard Association and produced by World Sports & Marketing of Winter Park, Florida in conjunction with Wakeboarding Magazine.

ChopShop Partner and Director Zach Lyons along with Producer Sean Osborne are traveling the circuit this summer to shoot then edit each event into episodes that have been running on FUEL TV since mid-June. Now halfway through the series, Wakeboarding Kings and Queens will be crowned in early September and the final episodes of the nine-part 2008 King of Wake series will air on FUEL TV in the fall.

“The King of Wake is one of our favorite tours to cover because the athletes are cool, the locations are amazing, and the events are always electric,” said producer Sean Osborne.

This is the second year that Osborne has worked on the series for FUEL TV and World Sports & Marketing. The events are shot in high definition using Panasonic P2 technology and as Osborne added, “we are having a blast.”
